Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting function up to trial balance
- Perform cashbook, bank, creditor and debtor reconciliations
- Process supplier invoices, customer invoicing and payment runs
- Prepare month-end journals, accruals and management reports
- Reconcile balance sheet and intercompany accounts
- Manage foreign currency transactions and exchange differences
- Prepare and submit VAT201 returns and assist with SARS administration
- Maintain fixed asset registers and assist with statutory and CIPC requirements
- Assist with inventory, landed costs, year-end packs and audit preparation
- Proven hands-on accounting experience up to trial balance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS for SMEs
- Experience with VAT and VAT201 submissions
- Knowledge of foreign currency accounting
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Highly accurate, organised and methodical
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Valid driver's licence and own transport
- BCom, SAIPA/CIMA articles or relevant professional qualification
- Multi-entity and multi-currency experience
- Experience in export, import, agriculture or inventory environments
- Experience with Acumatica, Zoho Books or similar ERP systems
- Afrikaans and English proficiency
- Permanent, full-time
- Office-based in Durbanville, Cape Town
- Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00
- Market-related CTC, including medical aid and provident fund contributions
