Deputy Director: ICT System Development
Limpopo Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs
The Limpopo Department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (CoGHSTA) is responsible for coordinating government efforts, supporting human settlements, and overseeing traditional affairs in the province. Its mission is to provide quality services to citizens by improving service delivery, implementing citizen-driven projects, and ensuring that the institution of traditional leadership is a strategic partner in community development. This includes supporting governance, development, access to indigenous knowledge, and the administration of traditional courts and law.REQUIREMENTS : Matric plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Information Communication Technology as recognized by SAQA. Minimum of 5 years' experience within the ICT environment of which three (3) years must be at Assistant Director / Junior Management level and valid driver's license (with exception of person with disability).
DUTIES :
Manage analysis of the departmental business strategic needs; Manage maintenance and enhancement of systems in the department; Manage the development and implementation of systems; Manage the detailed design of the solution to guide the development phase; Implement enhancements for all customised software Applications; Monitor the maintenance of all customized software applications; Engage with other ICT teams to deliver ICT solutions.- ...of traditional leadership is a strategic partner in community development.
