A leading group, based in Johannesburg North , is looking for an experienced
Financial Controller to take ownership of the full finance function across the Group.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving financial controls, process improvements, compliance, and team performance.
Responsibilities will include
- Oversee the full finance function across the Group.
- Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring accountability and high performance.
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes.
- Implement and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Review journals, reconciliations, VAT, and statutory compliance.
- Oversee cash flow, treasury, and accounts payable functions.
- Manage the annual audit process and financial statement preparation.
- Support the Head of Finance with financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification
- CA(SA), SAIPA, ACCA or CIMA (preferred)
- 5 years' experience as a Finance Manager
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
- MDA experience will be advantageous
