Inflatable Boat Repairs
Key Responsibilities:Precision Fabrication: Manually layout, measure, and cut heavy-gauge PVC (800gsm to 1450gsm) according to technical drawings.Industrial Welding: Operate hot-air welding equipment (heatgun) Product Assembly: Manufacture and assemble a variety of PVC products including inflatable boats, bladders, PVC Tents & air tight structuresPressure Testing: ensure zero leaks on inflatable structures.Requirements & Experience:Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience specifically within the PVC tarpaulin or inflatable manufacturing industry.Direct experience in inflatable boat manufacturing or high-impact commercial inflatables is highly advantageous.Experience with PVC glue repairs with heatguns a bonus would be with hot-air and high-frequency PVC welding machinery.Strong understanding of pattern matching, material optimization, and seam sealing.Must be reliable, sober-minded, and able to work independently to meet tight production deadlines.A bed is available in the workshop, should the artisan wish to sleep over at the workshop.
