Location: Johannesburg, Bryanston
Work model: Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days from home
Salary: R60 000 – R70 000 CTC

About our client

Our client is a mid-to-large, fully integrated agency based in Bryanston, with over 20 years in the industry and a strong reputation both locally and internationally. They're now looking for a Group Account Director to take the reins on one of their most prestigious blue-chip accounts. This could be a brilliant next step for a top-calibre Account Director ready to make the leap to GAD level.

What the job involves

• Taking full strategic and operational ownership of a blue-chip client relationship
• Leading and managing a team, ensuring strong delivery and development
• Acting as the senior client contact, including engagement at executive level
• Driving account growth and identifying new business opportunities within the account
• Overseeing flawless execution and attention to detail across all deliverables
• Managing account profitability, forecasting and reporting
• Partnering closely with strategy and creative teams to deliver best-in-class work
• Anticipating client needs and proactively solving problems before they arise

What you need to be considered

• 10 years+ TTL agency experience, with a proven track record managing blue-chip accounts
• Experience operating at very Senior Account Director level, ready to step up to GAD
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team
• Confidence engaging and presenting at executive level
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong commercial acumen and ambition to grow the account further
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
