Site Manager / Contracts Manager

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Site Manager / Contracts Manager to join our client's growing construction team in Cape Town . The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering civil infrastructure projects, with particular emphasis on township infrastructure works and reinforced concrete construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily construction activities across multiple project phases.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Manage labor, subcontractors, plants, and material resources.
- Monitor programme timelines and implement corrective actions where required.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality assurance standards.
- Liaise with engineers, consultants, and clients throughout project execution.
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification
- Demonstrated experience managing civil engineering construction projects.
- At least 10 years’ experience with township infrastructure development.
- Strong understanding of concrete structures and associated construction practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to motivate and manage site teams effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
