About the Role Our client is seeking a detail-oriented AI Data Analyst to join their growing analytics team in Soweto.
This role is crucial for extracting valuable insights from complex datasets to support the development and optimization of AI models.
You will work closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers, performing data exploration, validation, and interpretation to drive informed decision-making.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of statistical concepts, and proficiency in data manipulation tools.

Key Responsibilities Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to AI model development.
Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to provide insights that inform model training and tuning.
Document data sources, methodologies, and findings clearly and comprehensively.
Assist in the evaluation and performance monitoring of deployed AI models.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
2+ years of experience in data analysis, with exposure to AI/ML projects.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Python (Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn), R, or Tableau.
Solid understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
