Head Housekeeper - Live In

HEAD HOUSEKEEPER KURDISTAN; IRAQ Essential Requirements: 5-8+ Years in luxury hotels or UHNW households, including proven team-leading experience. Strong people management, eye for detail, and very high standards of discretion and confidentiality. Comfortable adapting to evolving SOPs as the Villa opens and operations are refined. Fluent English, flexible, team player. Reporting to the Estate Manager. Newly created vacancy for an experienced Head Housekeeper to assist with the setting up of this private newly built villa, training and supervising the housekeeping team of 6, one of which is a laundress/wardrobe housekeeper. Primary role is to lead the housekeeping team to maintain the villa in all areas to immaculate standards with hands-on involvement when needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Plan and supervise daily/weekly cleaning schedules for all internal areas, ensuring consistent luxury-level standards and readiness whether family is in residence or not. Work hands-on when required to do so: detailed cleaning, care of luxury finishes, surfaces, artwork (with training), and specialist materials. Oversee laundry and wardrobe routines in coordination with the designated laundry/wardrobe housekeeper, including linens, towels and guest bedding rotation. Inspect rooms and back-of-house spaces, correcting defects, raising maintenance tickets, and following up until completion. Train, coach and performance-manage housekeepers, including cross-training into basic service and back-up roles for other departments. Manage housekeeping inventories, ordering supplies within agreed budgets and maintaining storerooms in an organized way. Collaborate closely with the Head Butler, Executive chef, Security Supervisor and Maintenance supervisor to coordinate schedules, deep cleans and event support. Previous experience working as a Head Housekeeper in UHNW private households or luxury hotels is essential. Strong leadership and impeccable etiquette and discretion. Fluent in English, Arabic speaker would be an advantage. Accommodation; medical insurance and return flight home is provided. Annual leave 30 days per year. Working hours will be 8-10 hours per day with flexibility, 6 day working week- any overtime worked will be compensated with lieu days when the family are not in residence.
