About the RoleAs a YES-Learner (Admin) at Haval / BYD in Kempton Park, you will be primarily focused on providing administrative support within an automotive environment.
This role is essential in facilitating smooth operations while offering opportunities for growth and learning in a dynamic industry.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the management of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the department.Support in the preparation and organization of meetings, including scheduling and minute-taking.Coordinate communication between various departments to ensure timely flow of information.Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is current and easily accessible.Help prepare training materials and assist with the onboarding process for new staff members.Assist with inventory management and ordering of office supplies as needed.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance administrative processes and efficiency.Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and collaboration.RequirementsDemonstrable experience in an administrative support or clerical role, preferably within the automotive sector.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across various levels of the organization.A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Familiarity with office equipment and maintenance procedures.Preferred QualificationsRelevant tertiary qualification in business administration or a related field.Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or similar tools.Knowledge of the automotive industry and its associated administrative practices.Previous experience in a training or mentoring capacity is advantageous.Haval / BYD is an equal opportunity employer.
