You will collaborate with engineering teams to improve software delivery, implement DevSecOps best practices, and ensure cloud environments remain secure, scalable, and operationally efficient. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Manage containerised workloads across Kubernetes and Docker environments
- Support and administer Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and ELK Stack
- Deploy, manage, and optimise Azure Durable Functions and serverless workflows
- Apply security best practices, including identity management, secrets management, and cloud security controls
- Support the scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud platforms and applications
- Education: BSc Computer Science or relevant IT Diploma
- Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Operations
- Proven experience managing production environments within Microsoft Azure
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Azure
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Azure DevOps
- Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker
- PowerShell and/or Bash scripting
- Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and ELK Stack
- Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis
- API Management Platforms and Cloudflare
- Microsoft Entra ID and Azure Key Vault
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Leadership and mentoring capability
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution
- Advantageous Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate
