Sales Support and Customer Service Representative

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

- Order Processing & Coordination: Monitoring scanning facilities and dashboards, processing orders accurately, capturing embroidery details, tracking orders from picking to final delivery, and ensuring strict adherence to delivery dates.
- Customer Service & Communication: Serving as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing delivery updates, managing walk-in clients professionally, and ensuring prompt resolution of queries.
- Invoicing & Administrative Support: Preparing accurate invoices for dispatched orders, keeping detailed action notes on sales orders, updating systems, and providing cross-functional admin support to the internal sales team.
- Internal Coordination & Logistics: Coordinating directly with stores, buyers, and logistics platforms to schedule delivery slots, support timely stock procurement, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Sales Support: Supporting the sales team with operational tasks, applying correct customer pricing structures, and assisting with customer events and sales activities as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Grade 12 / Matric (A qualification in Business Administration, Sales, Customer Service, or a related field will be advantageous).
- 2–3 years' experience in sales support, customer service, or order administration, preferably within the PPE, workwear, safety equipment, or related industry.
- Proven track record in order processing, logistics coordination, and invoicing support.
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office, with solid Excel skills required; experience with CRM/ERP/Order Management systems highly advantageous).
- Solid understanding of PPE products and order fulfillment processes is beneficial.
- Ability to work normal business hours, manage high-pressure situations/deadlines, and occasionally undertake local/regional travel if required.
