Due to expansion, a busy distribution operation in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape now has room for an additional Import/Export Clerk. You will be trusted to work independently while contributing to wider team goals.

The role operates within tight delivery windows and requires flexibility around shift times.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatching to meet productivity targets.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and customers to coordinate smooth flow of goods across the supply chain.
- Prepare and process all import and export documentation including customs declarations, bills of entry, and shipping instructions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system by processing all stock movements and conducting cycle counts.
- Plan and coordinate transportation activities including route planning, load consolidation, carrier selection, and delivery scheduling.
- Supervise warehouse staff including pickers, packers, and forklift drivers, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, transport management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems, transport management systems, or ERP systems such as SAP.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with internal teams and external providers.
