The role will be based at Clicks Head Office , Cape Town and will be reporting to the Digital Search & Web Manager. Job description Job Purpose: To help manage the website to ensure information is up to date, accessible and effectively endorsed. Support the digital team with the content of website, structure and use of the content management system. To manage and deliver supplier campaigns. Job Objectives: To publish, edit and update content on the website. To develop, write and edit web pages using computer script. To utilise best practice and emerging website content tools. To analyse and report on web content initiatives and performance. Minimum requirements Education: National Diploma in Marketing, Web Design, Content Management (or relevant discipline) Bachelor of Commerce degree (or relevant discipline, e.g., Marketing) Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing (desirable in retail/FMCG marketing), with at least 2 years' experience in web content development Minimum of 2 years' experience using web and web content tools 5 years' experience in marketing (desirable in retail/FMCG marketing), with 3 years in web content development (Desirable) Knowledge: Digital marketing principles, practices and global trends (applied) Website development and tools (expert) Content management systems (expert) Programming and HTML (expert) Copywriting and editing (applied) Web content strategies and best practice (applied) Advanced HTML (Desirable) Skills: Innovative thinking and creative communication ideas and opportunities (intermediate) Maintaining relationships (proficient) Analytical skills (BI, reporting) and drawing insights from data (proficient) Effective communication (proficient) Manging complexity (proficient) Web creation, editing and management (advanced) Content creation and management (advanced) Proficiency with publishing, content development, video and photo editing tools, digital media formats and HTML (Desirable) Competencies: Working with People Writing and Reporting Applying Expertise and Technology Analysing Planning and Organising
