A premier manufacturer and supplier of therapeutic proteins and diagnostic products is seeking an organized and proactive Marketing Assistant to join their team.

This role provides critical operational, administrative, and campaign support to the Business Development and Marketing departmentensuring seamless HCP engagement, event execution, brand integrity, and digital platform management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digital & Content Management: Assist with website and HCP portal content updates; upload and maintain approved educational assets; route online customer/HCP inquiries to appropriate internal teams; maintain a digital library of marketing assets.

• Sales & Commercial Support: Receive and process incoming quote requests; compile quotations and supporting documents; format sales/BD reports; maintain customer databases for compliance certificates (BBBEE & Tax Clearance).

• Brand & Marketing Collateral: Coordinate artwork printing and production with suppliers; manage marketing materials and promotional stock inventories; perform regular cycle counts; ensure strict adherence to corporate identity guidelines.

• Campaign & Product Launch Coordination: Administrative support for new product launches and marketing campaigns; maintain campaign timelines, activity trackers, and performance output records.

• Events & Congress Management: Maintain the annual event/congress calendar; handle pre- and post-event logistics, delegate registration, invitations, and venue/exhibition branding materials within budget.

• HCP & Customer Engagement: Maintain database distribution lists; assist with HCP portal access registration; coordinate product updates, newsletters, and educational material distribution.

• Departmental Administration: Manage incoming department communications; prepare purchase requisitions and track supplier deliverables; process petty cash claims; maintain expenditure and supplier records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or Sales (a specialized Marketing qualification is advantageous).

• Experience: 23 years of experience in a marketing, sales, business development, or commercial support role.

• Industry Focus: Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG sectors is strongly preferred.

• Digital Skills: Background using digital marketing platforms, social media management tools, CMS, or marketing databases is preferred.

• SHE & Compliance: Willingness to undergo compulsory pre-employment medical examinations and strictly adhere to OSH Act site safety rules (due to the handling of biologically active components).
