A health tech company seeking to lower the cost of quality care to improve access are looking for an Engineering Delivery Lead. They solve systemic problems in the healthcare system through the combination of technology and people. As an Engineering Delivery Lead, you will lead the engineering team to ensure high quality delivery measured in terms of timeous delivery, good team health and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach engineers for enhanced performance, ensuring clarity on team priorities and expectations.
- Organize and structure the team for effective delivery using best practices.
- Monitor, control, and report on development progress alongside the Product Manager.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Look for opportunities to improve the development process and quality of output.
- Provide technical expertise to co-create suitable technology solutions and communicate risks as necessary.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent working experience.
- Short courses to keep up to speed with modern development practices.
- Solid experience leading/managing an engineering team.
- Experience as a software engineer or product owner is advantageous.
- Proven track record of delivery of customer facing software applications at scale.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and programming principles.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and deployment strategies.
- You have worked and understand agile software development methodologies.
