My client is seeking a Senior Support Consultant to join their dynamic IT team, working on critical systems that keep business operations running seamlessly. This role is designed for someone who thrives on troubleshooting, enjoys ownership of complex issues, and wants to deepen their technical expertise while mentoring others.

- Provide advanced technical support across critical systems and applications
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex incidents and service requests
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement long-term fixes
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and system optimization
- Mentor junior consultants and share technical knowledge across the team
Education
Relevant IT qualification (Degree or Diploma)
Experience
- Proven experience in a Senior Support Consultant / Application Support / Technical Support role
- Strong exposure to enterprise-level environments
- Experience supporting complex systems, integrations, or platforms
- Advantageous: experience working closely with development teams or in DevOps environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking
- Exposure to modern IT environments (exact tech stack to be discussed)
- Solid understanding of databases, system integrations, or application architecture
- Excellent communication skills – able to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
