Senior Chemist - Analytical Development

About the RoleOur client is recruiting a highly skilled Senior Chemist to lead their Analytical Development team in Mossel Bay .
This role is critical for ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of our products through the development and validation of robust analytical methods.
You will oversee the operation of advanced analytical instrumentation, mentor junior chemists, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of analytical techniques and a commitment to scientific rigor in a challenging industrial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, validate, and implement analytical methods for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.Operate and maintain a range of analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.Troubleshoot analytical methods and instrumentation issues to ensure data integrity.Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive reports.Mentor and guide junior chemists in analytical techniques and laboratory best practices.Ensure all laboratory activities comply with GLP/GMP and other relevant regulatory guidelines.RequirementsM.Sc.
