Fleet Controller Junior to Mid-LevelAn established bulk transport company based in Kempton Park is looking for a motivated Fleet Controller to join our operations team.This position is ideally suited to a young, energetic Fleet Controller with 23 years' experience managing Code 14 trucks in a long-distance and local transport environment.Minimum Requirements:23 years' proven experience as a Fleet Controller.Experience controlling 15+ heavy vehicles.Experience in long-distance and local transport operations.Exposure to the dry-bulk or liquid-bulk transport industry will be advantageous.Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced transport environment.Computer literate with experience on transport management systems.Key Responsibilities:Schedule and monitor daily loads and vehicle movements.Manage driver shifts, performance and compliance.Maintain regular communication with customers regarding loads and vehicle progress.Coordinate vehicle maintenance and availability with the workshop.Monitor fleet performance, fuel consumption and operational efficiency.Ensure accurate completion and control of transport documentation.Important:This position is intended for candidates with 23 years' Fleet Controller experience.
