Wholesale Sales Representative

Our client is looking for a Wholesale Sales Representative to join their team in Free State and Northern Cape. The successful candidate will play an important role in growing the wholesale customer base, increasing product distribution, achieving sales targets and developing strong, long-term customer relationships

Minimum requirements

Matric

Previous sales experience is essential

Previous wholesale sales experience will be advantageous

Proven ability to achieve sales targets and grow a customer base

Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Any additional language will be advantageous

Valid driver's licence

Own reliable vehicle

Willingness to travel and regularly visit customers

Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven

Confident and comfortable engaging with new and existing customers

Strong sales and negotiation skills

Duties and responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing wholesale customers

Identify and secure new customers and business opportunities

Increase product distribution within the assigned market

Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets

Drive sales growth within the wholesale channel

Regularly visit existing and potential customers

Build strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers

Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions

Promote products and increase product visibility and distribution

Follow up on leads and convert opportunities into sales

Actively identify new business opportunities within the wholesale market

Grow the existing customer base through proactive sales activities

Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity

Maintain accurate customer and sales records

Provide regular sales and market feedback to management

Contribute towards achieving overall company sales and distribution objectives

Manage customer interactions professionally and maintain a positive approach

Represent the company and its products professionally at all times

Remuneration

R 25 000 Basic Salary + Pension Fund + R 6 000 Car Allowance + Petrol Card for business purposes
