Maintenance Assistant

This is a hands-on, practical role suited to someone who takes pride in keeping a luxury property running smoothly, from general repairs to preventative upkeep across guest and back-of-house areas. Core Criteria:
- Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or general repairs role, ideally within hospitality
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
- Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors and at height where required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
- Good communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude
- Carry out routine and preventative maintenance across the property
- Attend to minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
- Assist with pool, garden, and general grounds upkeep
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest and staff areas
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance stock levels
- Report larger maintenance or safety issues to management
- Support with painting, general repairs, and property upkeep projects as needed
