Security Officer

Overview

We are seeking a professional, wellpresented, and serviceoriented Security Officer to To protect people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary objective:
  To ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets by monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and responding effectively to security incidents. 

• Secondary objective:
  To provide professional assistance to visitors by directing them to designated parking areas, maintaining orderly traffic flow, and contributing to a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Previous experience in a corporate or officepark security environment is highly advantageous.
• Clear criminal record.

Education

• Grade 12

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' security guarding experience in a corporate, commercial, or similar environment

• Open and close the main gate for staff, guests, and visitors
  Monitor and control access to the premises
  Direct visitors to designated parking areas
  Report security incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences to management
  Ensure that gates and access points remain secure when not in use
  Assist with moving equipment around the building
  Adhoc Cleaning when required
