About the Role Our client, a vibrant primary school located in Tembisa, Gauteng , is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Foundational Phase Teacher to join their team.

Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across all subjects for learners in Grades R to 3.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and exploration.
Develop and implement creative teaching methodologies that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
Conduct regular assessments of student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour, communicating effectively with parents.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and the school management team on curriculum development and school initiatives.
Organise and supervise age-appropriate educational excursions and activities.
Promote the holistic development of each child, focusing on cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
Utilise a range of teaching aids and resources, including technology, to enhance learning experiences.
Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school community events in Tembisa .
Requirements A relevant Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) degree or equivalent qualification for Foundation Phase teaching.
A minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience in the Foundational Phase (Grades R-3).
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogical practices.
Excellent knowledge of the CAPS curriculum for the Foundation Phase.
Exceptional classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources.
Demonstrated creativity and enthusiasm in teaching.
Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.
Must reside in or be able to commute to Tembisa, Gauteng .
