Position Overview

Are you a senior social media specialist who understands that meaningful growth is about more than follower numbers?

We are looking for an experienced Senior Social Media & Content Specialist to support three purpose-driven brands across spiritual development, essential oils, holistic wellness and education.

This role is ideal for someone who can take thoughtful, story-led content and transform it into engaging social media that feels authentic, visually beautiful and genuinely connected to the audience.

You will work closely with the Business Owner to grow an engaged online community through organic content, short-form video, community management and paid Meta advertising. The brands already have an established voice and visual identity, so your role will be to protect and strengthen that identity while bringing fresh ideas, senior-level strategy and a strong understanding of what drives meaningful social media growth.

This is not about chasing vanity metrics or creating content simply to fill a calendar. It is about helping the right people discover the brands, feel connected to their message and become part of a growing, supportive community.

• Develop and implement social media growth strategies across three brands.

• Create platform-specific plans for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.

• Build both organic and paid strategies that attract relevant, genuinely engaged followers.

• Repurpose blogs, interviews, podcasts, videos, articles, quotes and personal stories into high-impact social content.

• Create reels, stories, carousels, static posts, quote cards, captions and short-form video concepts.

• Edit both long-form and short-form video for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

• Develop strong hooks, captions, calls to action and content concepts for each platform.

• Help the Business Owner identify what to record and how to structure content for effective repurposing.

• Maintain the emotional depth, meaning and established voice of the original content.

• Protect and consistently apply the existing visual and written identity of the brands.

• Create polished, premium social media graphics using Canva and relevant Adobe Creative Cloud tools.

• Maintain organised content calendars and publish approved content consistently.

• Manage community engagement, including comments, questions and appropriate direct messages.

• Act as a warm and respectful extension of the Business Owner’s voice online.

• Plan, build and manage Meta advertising campaigns from the ground up.

• Support brand awareness, audience growth, launches, courses, events and lead generation through paid advertising.

• Monitor organic and paid performance and recommend practical improvements.

• Track follower growth, reach, engagement, video performance, traffic and conversions.

• Support launches, speaking engagements, media appearances and new offers.

• Maintain detailed SOPs, content systems, asset libraries and approval records.

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist.

• Complete relevant essential-oil regulatory compliance training and ensure all content follows the required guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least five years of dedicated social media management and content-strategy experience.

• A proven record of growing engaged social media audiences.

• Strong experience managing Instagram and Facebook, with practical exposure to TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.

• Solid experience with Meta Ads Manager and paid social campaign optimisation.

• Demonstrated ability to repurpose long-form written, audio and video content into compelling social media formats.

• Strong short-form video-editing capability.

• Excellent copywriting and caption-writing skills.

• A highly developed eye for colour, layout, design and premium brand presentation.

• Strong knowledge of social media algorithms, trends and content-performance analysis.

• Demonstrated community-management experience.

• The ability to understand and reproduce a distinctive and emotionally nuanced brand voice.

• Experience within spiritual development, holistic health, wellbeing, essential oils, personal development, coaching or a related field is highly advantageous.

• Formal qualifications in marketing, communications, media or design are beneficial, although demonstrated results and portfolio quality are more important.
