Alarm Monitoring Controller (Night Shift)

Night or day, a remote video monitoring centre in Mamelodi never switches off, and neither does your focus on shift. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The work is in Mamelodi, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

The work, day to day

• Track stolen vehicles on the map and guide recovery teams
• Hand over open incidents clearly at shift change
• Pull and save video footage for incident investigations
• Log every event and action on the monitoring software
• Dispatch the nearest response vehicle over the radio

You'll need

• Good memory for sites, streets and procedures
• Computer literate and quick on a keyboard
• Matric
• Able to stay focused through 12-hour day and night shifts

Extra points for

• Call centre work in the past
• Speaking more than one local language
• Experience on a CCTV or alarm monitoring platform
