- Inspect rims for bubbles, scratches, paint defects, porosity and other quality issues according to required standards and SOPs
- Identify and report any faults or defects to management immediately
- Regularly check stock and consumables required at the quality station and report shortages
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation at all times
- Ensure all quality checks are completed accurately and consistently
- Assist other departments when required and as instructed by the Operations Manager
- Follow all company procedures, quality standards and workplace requirements
- Perform additional reasonable duties as requested by management
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in the motor industry
- Previous experience in a quality, production, wheel/rim or automotive manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of quality standards and the ability to identify defects on rims
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and presentable
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Quick learner with a proactive approach
- Resilient, hardworking and willing to assist where required
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Motor Industry experience Essential!
