Company and Job Description:
A well-established organisation based in Menlyn Maine is seeking an Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month contract. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated accounting professional looking to broaden their technical skills while gaining valuable commercial exposure. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you'll take ownership of key accounting responsibilities and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records and statutory compliance.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Manage tax calculations and statutory submissions
- Process journals and maintain the general ledger
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
- Support audit processes and financial compliance
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Qualifications:- SAIPA Registered or completed SAIPA Articles
- Completed Articles
- Approximately 1 year post-article experience preferred
- Property industry exposure advantageous
- Candidates who are immediately available will be highly advantageous
- Strong taxation knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and communication skills
