Sales Representative

You will focus on vegetable seed sales, variety development and supporting farmers in South Africa.
You will play a key part in implementing Sakata's sales strategy within your region while contributing to the success of the greater Sakata group.What will you do?
Manage customer accountsProvide technical assistance to clients where possibleProvide key customer supportDevelop market shareContribute to sales planning and budgetsAssist with planning and arrangements of farmers days and other marketing/promotional activitiesCoordinate product trials within the regionCollect and report up-to-date market information/dataMaintain proficiency of sales skills and product knowledgeOperate within budgeted OPEXAccurate and timeous completion of sales administrationDelivery of product to clients, when necessaryCoordinating all commercial activities within the regionWhere will you work?
You will be based in Polokwane, preferably in Louis Trichardt.Your manager, Mr. Johan Stronkhorst, is based at Sakata's head office in Gauteng.Do you fit this profile?
You have:previous sales experience within the vegetable seed industry with good market knowledgea good knowledge of agronomy and irrigation providing support to farmers, while maintaining a commercial perspective.a tertiary qualificationa good level of English, both written and spokena valid driver's licenseYou are:willing to work flexible hourswilling to travelable to work under pressurecomputer literateable to work within deadlines, with good personal time managementa team player who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate within the team and with other departmentsDo you want to know more about the company?
You will be part of Sakata's South African sales team.
