Specialties Business Software, Business Intelligence, Accounting, Payroll, Payment Solutions, and Human ResourcesJob Description As a Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full journey of prospective accountants from initial enquiry through qualification, recruitment, onboarding, and enablement. Your focus will be on delivering a positive and professional experience while ensuring accountants are fully prepared for a successful transition to the Senior Practice Success Specialist team. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional who thrives on building relationships, supporting business growth, and making a meaningful impact within the accounting community. Location - 3 days per week out of our Johannesburg office. Key Responsibilities Manage, assess, and qualify incoming leads to identify high-potential accounting professionals. Guide prospective accountants through the recruitment, onboarding, and certification journey. Deliver a seamless onboarding experience that ensures accountants are engaged, informed, and enabled for success. Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead, recruitment, and onboarding records. Coordinate the structured handover of qualified accountants to the Practice Success team. Support lead conversion strategies that contribute to programme growth and revenue objectives. Assist with accountant engagement initiatives, including webinars, forums, networking opportunities, and community events. Build and maintain positive relationships within the accounting community while representing Sage as a trusted partner and brand ambassador. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience throughout the acquisition process. Skills, Knowledge & Experience We're looking for someone who brings energy, professionalism, and a passion for creating meaningful customer relationships. Essential Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels. Strong relationship-building capabilities and a customer-centric mindset. Professional telephone etiquette and excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records. Experience Experience in sales support, lead management, recruitment, onboarding, customer success, or a customer-facing environment. Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and guide customers through structured processes. Experience working within a growth-focused or target-driven environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of accounting, payroll, or Sage solutions is beneficial. Bilingual language capability is considered an advantage. Qualifications Qualification in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
