SUMMARY:
SENIOR LEGAL SECRETARY
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
- Matric and post matric will be beneficial
- 8 years + experience as a Senior Legal Secretary within the legal sector
- Conveyancing qualification and experience a minimum requirement, commercial experience will be advantageous
- Transfer or bonds experience or both would be beneficial
- Specific transfer types: Agricultural and Residential
- Transfers and registrations with the deeds office
- Outstanding professional communication and language skills in both Afrikaans and English (oral and written)
- Systems in use: Lexis Convey and Practice, MS Office and Ghost Practice
- Above average numeracy skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to function well within a small team
- Good organisational skills with the ability to function well under pressure, prioritise tasks, multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Willing to work overtime when required
