Admin Assistant

The successful incumbent will collaborate with the Country Manager, often requiring you to make support in decision making and solve problems. You will make a great administrator if you can be self-reliant at work while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of Matric is needed to apply
  • A tertiary qualification is Advantageous
  • 0 - 2 years of Administration experience
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support:
    • Coordinate and manage daily schedules, meetings, and appointments.
    • Prepare, proofread, and format documents, reports, and presentations.
    • Manage email correspondence and telephone communications with relevant stakeholders.
    • System maintenance and organise digital and physical filing systems.
    • Support Business Area Manager with general ad hoc tasks.
  • Personal Assistance:
    • Coordinate events, conferences, and internal meetings.
    • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on behalf of the manager.
  • Project Management Support:
    • Assist the Business Area Manager in developing innovative concepts for projects and business initiatives.
    • Support the drafting of project proposals, presentations, and research briefs.
    • Track project milestones, action items, and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information, compile feedback, and manage project documentation.
    • Contribute ideas and assist with brainstorming sessions and innovation workshops.
    • Assist with reporting, budgeting, and preparation of progress updates for key stakeholders.
  • Business Support:
    • Assist with the preparation of operational reports and data consolidation.
    • Monitor deadlines, follow up on deliverables, and ensure timely submissions.
    • Maintain an overview of key departmental projects and tasks.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative systems and workflows.
