A well-established professional services firm is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to manage the tax compliance requirements of a portfolio of clients and work closely with the broader tax team.
Experience Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or similar qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of SARS eFiling is essential.
- Previous articles would be advantageous.
- Registered Tax Practitioner status would be advantageous.
- Experience managing a portfolio of tax clients.
- Experience with GreatSoft would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts.
- Manage and respond to SARS queries, verifications and correspondence.
- Ensure all tax submissions and compliance matters are kept up to date.
- Manage client matters on SARS eFiling.
- Manage tax-related client billing.
- Assist with general tax compliance and advisory matters as required.
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of tax clients.
