Cost Accountant

Requirements:

• BCom Degree
• CIMA qualification in progress (minimum Strategic Level completed)
• Minimum 4 years' Cost Accounting experience
• Manufacturing industry experience is essential
• Strong understanding of costing principles and methodologies
• Experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to engage with both finance and operational teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse product costing information
• Maintain and review Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Monitor manufacturing costs and identify variances
• Conduct cost analysis and profitability reporting
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support inventory and stock valuation activities
• Provide recommendations to improve cost efficiencies
• Partner with operational teams to understand production drivers
• Prepare reports and insights for management
