Hotel Sales Executive

Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or a related field advantageous
- Minimum 5 years' sales experience within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and securing new business
- Established relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, PCOs and production houses
- Valid South African ID
- Valid driver's licence
- Willingness to travel regularly as part of the role
- Available to attend networking events and functions after hours
- Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Professional, confident and customer-focused approach
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across leisure, corporate and group markets
- Promote the company's products and services to maximise revenue growth and market penetration
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, PCOs and other industry partners
- Conduct regular client visits and sales calls
- Represent the business at trade shows, workshops, networking events and industry functions
Sales Administration & Reporting
- Manage and maintain client databases and sales records
- Prepare professional sales presentations and proposals
- Compile sales reports and market feedback
- Monitor business performance and identify growth opportunities
Brand Representation
- Act as a professional ambassador for the brand at all times
- Deliver presentations and conduct meetings with confidence and professionalism
- Ensure a high level of service and responsiveness to all client enquiries
