Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating production/manufacturing machinery.
- Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG will be advantageous.
- Experience in wrapping or packaging products.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Good understanding of production processes.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery.
- Perform machine start-up and shut-down procedures.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal production.
- Identify and report machine faults or production issues.
- Conduct basic preventative maintenance and routine equipment checks.
- Ensure production targets are met.
- Wrap and package finished products according to company standards.
- Inspect products for quality before packaging.
- Label and prepare products for dispatch.
- Maintain cleanliness of packaging stations.
- Ensure correct product quantities and packaging specifications.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
- Comply with company health and safety regulations.
