Production Supervisor - KZN

Are you an experienced Production Supervisor who knows how to keep a busy manufacturing shift on track while getting the best from your team? SCallaghan is looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor for an established manufacturing operation in Durban.
This role will suit someone with good manufacturing experience who enjoys leading a team, meeting production targets and keeping the shift running safely and smoothly.
Requirements
- Must have a formal qualification in Production or Operations Management/Engineering or similar.
- 2-4 years supervisory experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of production planning and quality systems.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Experience managing production targets, downtime and shift performance.
- Able to manage employee matters including attendance, timekeeping and performance.
- Able & willing to work shifts.
