New Business Development
- Identify and secure new customers within the hospitality and accommodation sector.
- Conduct proactive outbound sales activities, including cold calling, lead generation, and email campaigns.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals.
- Convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify opportunities to increase account value and sales revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Follow up on orders, quotations, deliveries, and customer enquiries.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Drive customer retention and repeat business.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain customer records and sales data on company systems.
- Prepare sales reports and provide management feedback.
- Liaise with internal departments regarding stock availability and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Internal Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
- Experience within hospitality, FMCG, wholesale, distribution, or related industries will be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with CRM and/or ERP systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
