Unit Manager - Paediatric Ward

In 1992 the company employed less than 5 people who led our first hospital Botshelong Empilweni Private Hospital to open its doors to the Vosloorus community in 1994. We pride ourselves on attracting passionate and exceptional individuals who will continue to help us enhance patient experience and providing access to affordable and quality healthcare to underserviced communities.JOB SUMMARY To plan, monitor, coordinate and oversee the Unit's operations and processes to ensure quality patient care and the overall running of the unit including but not limited to managing the ward clerks, RN, EN and ENA's roles and responsibilities. Take responsibility for the mentoring, coaching, training and development of nursing staff and managing the Unit budget and ensuring cost saving and stakeholder engagement.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications B.Cur in General Nursing Certification or Diploma in Paediatric Nursing BLS Nursing Administration qualification Minimum Experience: Infection Prevention and Control 3+ years' experience at a managerial/supervisory level. Experienced in Paediatric nursing Experience within a private hospital environment advantageous.
