- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the service workshop.
- Ensure all servicing and repairs are completed correctly the first time, in line with OEM standards.
- Manage and motivate technicians, apprentices and workshop support staff.
- Drive workshop productivity, labour sales and profitability.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and achieve CSI targets.
- Oversee warranty administration and workshop quality standards.
- Manage workshop inventory, tooling and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and housekeeping standards.
- Support the Workshop Manager in achieving departmental objectives and continuous improvement.
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Qualified Motor Mechanic with a recognised Trade Test (Red Seal).
- Minimum 8 years' experience within a franchised automotive dealership service workshop.
- Previous experience as a Senior Foreman, Workshop Foreman, Assistant Workshop Manager, Workshop Manager or Senior Service Advisor.
- Mahindra dealership experience will be advantageous.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience managing workshop performance, productivity and warranty processes.
- Computer literate with experience on dealership management systems such as Evolve, IAL, CMS or similar.
- Valid South African driver's licence.
- Clear criminal record.
- Applicants residing on the East Rand or within a reasonable commuting distance will be preferred.
