About the RoleOur client is seeking a compassionate and energetic Assistant Childcare Worker to support the educational team at their facility in Polokwane .

You will assist lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, helping with daily routines, activities, and providing direct care.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
Provide direct care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
Support children with daily routines, including feeding, toileting, and rest periods.
Engage children in play and learning activities, fostering their development.
Communicate observations about children's behavior and development to lead teachers.
RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus.
Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential.
A genuine love for working with children and a patient demeanor.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Basic understanding of child safety and hygiene practices.
Physical ability to lift young children and engage in active play.
