Bookkeeper required for a reputable accounting firm based in East London

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements
  • Assist with tax preparation and reporting
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Handle payroll processing and other related tasks

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, within a tax or accounting firm essential
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and time-management abilities
