About the RoleOur client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Engineer to join their operations in Benoni, Gauteng .
This role is focused on optimizing both physical processes and integrated systems within the manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for analyzing workflows, improving system integrations, and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall operational output.
This is a hybrid role, offering a flexible work arrangement that combines essential on-site collaboration with production teams and management, with remote work options for in-depth analysis and reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a key industrial hub of Gauteng.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze current industrial processes and operational systems to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.Design and implement process improvements and system integrations that enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system configuration guides.Utilize data analysis and simulation tools to model and optimize processes and system performance.Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to ensure effective system design and implementation.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process and system efficiency.Identify opportunities for automation and technology adoption to improve operational performance.Conduct training for operational staff on new processes and system functionalities.Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on process and systems analysis within a manufacturing environment.Proven experience in analyzing and improving complex operational processes and integrating different systems.Proficiency in data analysis tools, process mapping software (e.g., Visio), and ideally simulation software.Strong understanding of system integration principles and common industrial software platforms.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise between technical and operational teams.Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.BenefitsOur client offers a competitive remuneration package and a comprehensive benefits plan.
