Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a building-supplies merchant in Rustenburg. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.
You'll report in Rustenburg. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.
What you'll actually do
- Keep empties and returns separate for credit
- Check the load against invoices before signing it out
- Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
- Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
- Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
- Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
- Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
You'll need
- Clean driving record
- Valid PrDP for goods (G)
- Honest with cash and customer goods
- At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Valid Code 10 (C1) licence

- Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
- Crane or HIAB operator certificate
