Childcare Program Coordinator - Hybrid Role

About the RoleOur client is a reputable community-focused childcare provider seeking a dedicated and organized Childcare Program Coordinator.
This hybrid role offers a dynamic blend of remote work flexibility and essential in-person engagement at our facilities in Klerksdorp, North West.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of our childcare programs, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
You will work closely with educators, parents, and administrative staff to uphold our high standards and foster a positive community within our centers.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of multiple childcare programs, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.
Develop and implement engaging age-appropriate activities and educational curricula for children.
Manage staff schedules, provide ongoing training and support to educators, and conduct performance reviews.
Liaise with parents, addressing concerns and ensuring effective communication regarding their child's development and program activities.
Manage program budgets, including ordering supplies and maintaining facility upkeep.
Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
Support the administrative functions of the childcare center, including enrollment and record-keeping.
RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Childcare Management, or a related field.
At least 4 years of experience in a childcare setting, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
Strong knowledge of child development, early learning principles, and relevant legislation.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
Proficient in using childcare management software and standard office applications.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, both remotely and on-site.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
