Senior Conveyancing Secretary

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of transactions from beginning to end, including residential and commercial property transfers.
- Accurately prepare and maintain files according to required specifications.
- Administer and organise the Conveyancing practice of the Director.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, municipalities, rates consultants, estate agents and the Deeds Office .
- Draft conveyancing documentation and correspondence.
- Obtain Transfer Duty and Rates Clearance Certificates .
- Attend to lodgements and registrations of transfers, bond cancellations and bonds .
- Manage all financial aspects relating to conveyancing transactions.
Requirements
- Matric essential.
- 8+ years' Conveyancing Secretarial experience essential.
- Legal Secretary, Paralegal or Conveyancing qualification advantageous.
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office .
- Experience with the RMB Private Wealth bank system advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of conveyancing software and systems, including:
- Lexis Convey
- Lotus Notes
- E4
- Windeed

We are looking for someone with solid and stable conveyancing secretarial experience who can take ownership of matters and work confidently with minimal supervision.You should be:

Experienced across the full conveyancing process
