This position calls for a resourceful and an enthusiastic candidate who is ready and fit to work as part of a diverse team, forging close relationships in Mining, Engineering and Procurement departments and the incumbent should be flexible to operate in a high-speed mining development project. JOB SUMMARY A Diesel Mechanic will be responsible to provide safe, cost-effective mechanical maintenance support to the project. This will include undertaking fabrication, maintenance, repairs, and installation activities. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 or N2 in Mechanical Engineering Trade Certificate as a minimum. At least 3 to 5 years experience as Diesel Mech Artisan, Legal Knowledge of MHSA, Mining experience will be an added advantage. Able to read and understand Equipment schematics Able to conduct fault finding on Engines, Hydraulics and understand basic Auto Electrical Experience on LHDs, Drill Rigs, Dump Trucks and Utility Equipment on various OEMs Conduct comprehensive RCAs, analyse and access componentsApplicants must include detailed CV and certified copies of all relevant qualifications.
