Company and Job Description:
A well-established organisation is seeking a Site Accountant to oversee the finance function at one of its operational sites. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working independently, supporting operations, and contributing to business performance through accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full finance function for the site
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Process journals, reconciliations, and month-end reporting
- Ensure VAT and statutory compliance
- Support general administrative and operational finance activities
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Qualifications:- BCom Accounting
- Articles advantageous
- Minimum 5 years' accounting experience
- Manufacturing, Mining, or Construction industry experience preferred
- Full finance function experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills
- Excellent organisational abilities
