️ Department: IT Support & Administration A leading motor retail group is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Helpdesk Technician to join the Head Office team in Milnerton.

In this role, you will provide critical day-to-day technical support to the head office team and dealership staff. This is a fast-paced environment perfect for an IT professional with strong troubleshooting skills and a background in the motor retail sector. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Log & Resolve Support Requests: Receive, log, and troubleshoot IT support requests from staff regarding hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
- User Onboarding: Manage user onboarding by creating system accounts, setting up required access, and preparing PCs before new employees start.
- Hardware & Software Setup: Install, configure, and maintain PCs, software applications, and peripherals.
- Asset Management: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date register of all IT equipment, including allocations, returns, and replacements.
- Keyloop Support: Assist dealership staff with basic Keyloop queries and efficiently escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams.
- Request Tracking: Track all outstanding helpdesk requests and proactively keep users informed of their progress.
- Education: Matric certificate and a relevant IT trade certificate.
- Licence: Valid driver's licence.
- Experience: Proven experience in an IT helpdesk or desktop support role, specifically with account creation and PC setup.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic Keyloop (Dealer Management System) knowledge or experience is essential.
- Software: Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Location: Must currently reside within commuting distance of Milnerton, Cape Town.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Great organizational skills with high attention to detail for asset tracking
- Ability to manage multiple support tickets efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
