Senior HR Manager - Remote

About the Role

Our client, WhatJobs Direct, is seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead HR initiatives within a fully remote capacity. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will shape and execute HR strategies that align with our client's overarching business objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing all facets of human resources, including talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, and HR compliance, all within a distributed workforce model. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business goals in a remote setting.
• Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Oversee talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and retention programs.
• Drive employee engagement and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture across remote teams.
• Manage employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs.
• Spearhead organizational development and change management initiatives.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
• Champion the use of HR technology to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion in a leadership or senior management role.
• Extensive experience managing HR functions in a fully remote or distributed workforce environment.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, and other relevant HR technologies.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in talent management, OD, and change management.
• Ability to foster a strong sense of community and engagement in a virtual setting.
• Understanding of the business dynamics relevant to Randburg, Gauteng, ZA is a plus for strategic positioning.
