Palletiser (Export Packhouse)

Packing season at an export fruit packhouse near Epping means lots of shifts and lots of work. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in Epping, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

• Check fruit samples and record quality results on the QC sheet
• Keep your packing station clean and free of stems and leaves
• Stack empty cartons and punnets ready for the next run
• Stick labels and batch codes on each carton
• Build pallets to the correct height and strap them

You'll need

• Arrives on time for early shifts
• Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
• Basic counting and reading for labels
• Valid ID or permit

• Matric for QC posts
• Knowledge of export standards like GLOBALG.A.P.
