This position offers broad exposure across accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls, making it ideal for a candidate looking to expand their technical expertise and grow within a professional finance environment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and process monthly accounting transactions
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Monitor financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies
- Analyse financial information and investigate variances
- Assist with audits and statutory requirements
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc accounting duties
- BCom Accounting qualification is essential
- 2 to 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Driven, proactive, and eager to develop professionally
